Remove duplicate rows from a CSV

See which rows are exact copies, choose whether to keep the first or the last, and apply the deletion only after the preview lists them.

Drop a CSV here

Comma, semicolon, tab, or pipe. Quotes, commas, and line breaks inside a cell stay intact. The file is read here and is not saved on the server.

Up to 32 MB. Files over 8.0 MB ask before parsing.

What counts as a duplicate

Two rows are duplicates when every cell matches, including spaces and letter case. A repeated email in one column is not enough. 00120 and 120 stay different, so identifier columns are not collapsed by accident.

Trim outer spaces first if the copies only differ by padding. The duplicate preview tells you that matching is exact. Undo puts the removed rows back. The background and the limits are the same as the main cleaner.

What this page will not do

  • It does not fuzzy-match names.
  • It does not keep one row per email while merging the other columns.
  • It does not drop a row just because one cell is repeated.
